- Project said to bring “more comprehensive and adaptive” safeguards.
Telecoms software and services player Amdocs flagged that it had wrapped up implementation of a revenue assurance solution at Safaricom.
The deployment of Amdocs’ Revenue Guard offering, announced in May 2018 (Vodafonewatch, #166), was billed by the vendor as a way for Safaricom to improve detection and recovery of revenue leakage by automating processes and increasing revenue assurance coverage to “all of its lines of business”. Amdocs also said the project will help reduce operating costs.
The solution is said to feature machine learning and “advanced analytics” capabilities, and give Safaricom the ability to set dynamic thresholds and automated mechanisms and alerts for digital services performance.
