Asterion builds FibreCo challenger to Telefónica in Spain

Olin Group’s portfolio now includes ten regional operators, with collective fibre footprint of 1.6 million premises. FibreCo newcomer plans to open up more than half of its fibre network to third-party operators in 2023. Spain’s saturated fibre sector appears ripe for further consilidation.
