Subsea sector may look to next gen satcos for backup
Colt, Telesat, and neXat are working on an innovative joint solution that could help address the accident-prone nature of submarine cable networks. Backed by the European Space Agency, the project seeks to tap into recent years’ emergence of higher-capacity, lower-latency satellite platforms for alternative backup.
