German IT systems house Bechtle joined the Next Generation Enterprise Network Alliance (ngena), the Deutsche Telekom-germinated international network partnership. Bechtle joined to leverage ngena’s Cisco-underpinned software-defined wide area network (SD‑WAN) system, enabling it to offer standardised enterprise networks through a fully managed service. In northern Europe, ngena’s partner line‑up already includes carriers A1 Telekom Austria, BT Group, KPN, and Telia, as well as UK systems integrator Logicalis. The Bechtle partnership follows recent signs of a reboot at ngena (Deutsche Telekomwatch, #86).
