Deutsche Telekom (DT) expanded the ecosystem behind its Internet of Things Solution Optimizer, an online tool to help enterprise clients deploy Narrowband IoT solutions (Deutsche Telekomwatch, #81). One year after its launch, DT announced partnerships with Nordic telecoms group Telia Company and Latvian and Slovenian incumbents Latvijas Mobilais Telefons and Telekom Slovenije to grow the Optimizer’s reach. It also flagged new partnerships with several hardware and software providers (see table). DT said additional operators are slated to join over the coming year, and within the Group, there also appears room for wider expansion. DT said the solution is now offered by Telekom Deutschland, T‑Mobile Netherlands, T‑Mobile US and most Europe segment NatCos (Hrvatski Telekom, Magenta Telekom, Magyar Telekom, Slovak Telekom, T‑Mobile Czech Republic, and T‑Mobile Poland — leaving Cosmote Greece, Crnogorski Telekom, Makedonski Telekom, and Telekom Romania outside the service’s footprint).
