Cisco Systems flaunted a contact centre technology engagement with T‑Mobile US (TMUS) during its recent Cisco Live Barcelona customer event. A video presentation by Tamara Jensen, Senior Technology Product Manager at TMUS, focused on customer experience improvements enabled by the Cisco Webex Contact Center integration. She said TMUS was using the solution’s artificial intelligence-supported customer call routing capability to improve accessibility to “experts and agents”, and linked this with reductions in “attrition” and churn. TMUS appears to have been using the Contact Center platform for several years. Though she did not mention a start date, the figures included a 33 million customer baseline, which suggests that this Cisco partnership began in 2013.
