Hrvatski Telekom (HT) is said to be seeking to extend 30Mbps broadband services to more customers in rural areas of Croatia, following the adoption of hybrid internet access technology from Belgium‑based network access specialist Tessares. The supplier said HT is now using its MultipathTCP technology, which allows fixed-line and mobile networks to be combined into a hybrid retail and wholesale offer. HT has been providing a 30Mbps hybrid service since at least July 2019, marketing the Hibridbox via its online store.
