Group investment arm Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners (DTCP) looked to have exited Paxata, a data analytics solution provider in which it acquired a stake in 2016 (DeutscheTelekomwatch, #58). Paxata has been bought out by DataRobot, an acquisitive, US‑based artificial intelligence (AI) technology specialist for an undisclosed sum, with DTCP presumably divesting its holding. Together, the two newly-merged businesses aim to build the “world’s first automated end‑to‑end enterprise AI platform”. Paxata focuses on helping businesses with “data preparation”, but has not flagged any ties with DT, beyond the DTCP investment.
